Deputy Mayor Patricia Jackson has served terms on Council since 1988 including two terms as Mayor. This 2016-2020 term will be her second consecutive term as a councillor since a break five years ago.
Originally, a resident of Kilarney, Manitoba, Pat attended Brandon College and the University of Brandon where she received her Education Degree. After thirty years in the profession, Pat retired 6 years ago.
Patricia has been a resident of the Town of Kipling since 1984. She is an active member of the Kipling & District Lions Club and Drama Club devoting many hours to improving her community through volunteering.
While on Council Patricia has worked over the years to ensure the completion of the newly integrated healthcare facility, residential and light industrial subdivisions, housing and the Red Paperclip Project.
She plans to continue to work towards securing a safe and sustainable water treatment plant and development of the business sector.
