How to Address Council

Regular Council Meetings

Regular meetings of Town Council are open to the public and are held monthly on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. If a meeting falls on a Statutory holiday it automatically moves to the Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

Meetings are held in Council chambers, meeting room two in the Kipling Community Centre, 301 6th Avenue.

Speaking Before Council  

Individuals or Delegations wishing to make a presentation directly to Council should contact the C.A.O. by 4:00 p.m. no later than the Thursday prior to the regular meeting.

You must be on the agenda to speak to Council.

A person applying to speak to Council shall provide the CAO with the following:

  1. Identify who will be speaking to Council, including contact information.
  2. Give a concise description of the issue being addressed or request being made of Council.
  3. Number of people in the delegation.

Writing to Council

The deadline for submissions or correspondence to Council to be included on the agenda is 4:00 p.m. on the Tuesday prior to the meeting.
